The Bartlett Community Concert Band was founded in 1991. We are a dynamic musical organization dedicated to performing the best in concert band music for personal enjoyment and entertainment for the citizens of Bartlett and the greater Memphis area. Our volunteer musicians come from all walks of life. There are no auditions held to join the band. You do not have to live in Bartlett to be a member. Our current members come from all areas of Shelby County-Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
The Bartlett Community Band would like to invite students and adults to come and play with us. Joining our band will give you a chance to play a wide variety of music. Our primary goal is to have fun making great music. Our organization has a formal structure to manage our affairs. We have a nine member board that determines policy and procedures and develops and plans our concerts.
Rehearsals are held on Monday’s at Whitten Memorial Baptist Church located at 6773 Macon Rd, Memphis, TN 38134 from 7pm- 9pm.
